A judge on Curaçao has declared 1xBet bankrupt. 1xCorp, parent company of 1xBet, refused to pay players and did not show up at the trial.
The advocate previously filed a complaint against the master licensee that licenses 1xBet, Cyberluck. SBGOK claims that Cyberluck is cooperating with fraudulent acts and ignoring rules against money laundering. After several claims were investigated by SBGOK, 1xCorp deregistered from Curaçao and the former management resigned. Despite the claims and dubious acts 1xCorp still received a new license from Cyberluck.
During the trial on November 17, 2021, it became clear that the company is based in Ukraine. This is not the first time 1xCorp and 1xBet are experiencing problems. The company is also under a magnifying glass in the Netherlands.
In 2019, 1xCorp received a fine of €200,000 from the Dutch Gaming Authority.
