On Thursday, February 25, the Municipality of Eindhoven closed a property on Edisonstraat. The closure is for at least one month. In December there was already a police check after signals that illegal gambling was taking place. The police found a suitcase with poker chips, playing cards and large sums of cash. They also found three large swords, which were presumably used to inflict injuries.
It is not the first time that this property was associated with illegal gambling. In 2017, a police check also took place and these activities were observed then as well. The owner then received a warning.
