In the night of Wednesday to Thursday, ‘a large sum of money’ was seized during a robbery at Jack’s Casino in Helmond. That is what the police reported. The robbery was committed at about 03.30 hours on the Watermolenwal, half an hour after the casino closed.
On Thursday, the police interviewed witnesses and analysed camera images. According to the police, it is as yet unclear how many perpetrators in total are involved, but there are probably at least two.
Near closing time, an employee of the casino was robbed when she was outside for a moment. She was ordered to escort the perpetrators, under duress, to the safe. A large sum of money was taken from the safe. Afterwards, the perpetrators ran away. The Jack’s Casino can be found on the Watermolenwal in Helmond.
