This partnership has added impetus to the further development of this top-level league. It will allow KNVB and ESPN to increase the visibility of the Azerion Women's Eredivisie by broadcasting 22 additional matches on television.

This means doubling the number of live games on ESPN. These extra Azerion Women's Eredivisie matches will be played on Saturdays at 2pm in principle and will be broadcast on ESPN's open network, ESPN 1.
